WHAT WAS THE KEY ELEMENT THAT ENABLED ME OVERCOME MY GENERALIZED ANXIETY IN MOTHERHOOD?
I had really bad generalized anxiety in motherhood...
It was so bad that I became determined to find the solution for myself and everyone else.
I had to find a way to free myself from that horrible ROLLER COASTER of Shame, Failure, Guilt, Fear, Overwhelm, and Loneliness... so that I would have the emotional space to feel POSITIVE EMOTIONS instead. <3
.
So, I did tons of research into all areas of the social sciences... and I started identifying every single emotion I was feeling...
🔸 "WHAT am I feeling right now?"
🔸 "WHY am I feeling it?"
🔸 "WHERE is it coming from?"
For example, one of the questions I had was, "WHY was I feeling GUILTY for going to the toilet?!!!!" 😂
I then summarized this research into 15 READING MODULES for my mother clients to help them free themselves from the Primary Emotions at the root of their anxiety in motherhood.

This Anxiety Program for Mothers was working like a charm.
However, I was having trouble articulating to non-mothers what the key ingredients to overcoming generalized anxiety were...
Until I finally figured it out...
In order to overcome generalized anxiety... we have to FIND THE RESOLVE to PRIORITIZE our emotional well-being above everything else.
It was THIS RESOLVE that enabled me to find my solutions in the first place.
And it is THIS RESOLVE that I was helping to foster in my clients. <3

And WHY is this resolve so important?
Because if we DON'T prioritize our emotional well-being over everything else, then it is way too easy to find ourselves falling back into...
- the roller-coaster of emotions...
- the shame storms...
- the non-stop guilt...
- the endless worrying...
- the bouts of anger...
- the crippling fears...
WHO CARES ABOUT ALL THE SHIT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GIVE A SHIT ABOUT?!!
It is this shit that is tearing us apart. <3
In order to overcome generalized anxiety... it is our EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING that has to come first.
